Isabel Wang, General Manager, Banyan Tree Hangzhou.
Ms. Isabel Wang is the General Manager- Hangzhou, responsible for overall operations and profitability for the Banyan Tree and Angsana Hangzhou. Isabel has joined the Banyan Tree Group in May 2015.
Prior to joining Banyan Tree Group, Isabel was the General Manager with the Accor Group, last at Novotel Wuhan Xinhua, in China. She has with her over 22 years of working experience in the hospitality industry and 15 years Sales and Marketing background. She has worked with numerous hotels both in China and North America such as Radisson President Hotel & Suites Vancouver Canada, Holiday Inn Tian An Wuhan City Centre and Urumqi China.
After graduating from the Institute of International Hotel Management and Operation in 2010, Isabel started her career as Sales and Catering Manager at Radisson President Hotel & Suites Vancouver in Canada. Following that she joined the Novotel Wuhan Xinhua in China where she was Deputy General Manager and promoted to be hotel General Manager.
Isabel is a "Certified Hotel Administrator" by American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, having received his certification in 2010 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Beijing Foreign Language Institute Tourism Managment in China.
Isabel is Canadian-Chinese and is married with one child. She likes spending her spare time with her family and pet chinchilla, listening to foreign pop music and classical Chinese music and keeping abreast of current affairs.
