- 13 August 2003 - We lost track of Turtle 39067 as she headed west towards Africa. However she came back online again and has decided to explore the west coast of India where she is presently hanging around.
- 14 July 2003 - A miracle had occured! Half a year after we lost the transmitter signal from Turtle 39067, she has started to transmit again from somewhere off the coast of India.
- 22 February 2003 - Where have all the turtles gone?
- 10 January 2003 - Turtle 39067 is really on the move and has covered over 300 kilometers in the last 10 days and now is in the middle of the Arabian Sea! The other turtle likes the service around her and appears to be staying with us.
As of this week the tracking will be in the local newspaper every week so they have become the 'Turtles Of The Maldivian People'.
- 30 December 2002 - Turtle 39067 is moving in and out of the atolls, possibly deciding if he/she wants to be a deep water turtle or a sedentary one. Turtle 39066 seems to have already figured out the answer to that one!
- 26 December 2002 - Turtle 39067 has been active, swimming out to sea twice for 162 km on the first run and 135 km on the second. The smaller turtle, 39066, went out to sea past the airport once, but came back and is still around Ihuru and Vabbinfaru.
- 21 December 2002 - Turtle 39067 is definitely more active. We receive three returns from her for each one from Turtle 39066.
- 13 December 2002 - Turtles released!
