As the artisan weaves stalks of mountain grass, his hands pass over the material to ensure its quality, a mark of his passion, until they reach your hands feeling the woven intricacies he created.
Banyan Tree Gallery proudly features mountain grass, bamboo, palm leaf and sedge as viable natural materials for handicrafts in recognition of Earth Day on 22 April. Resources with low environmental impact are used to create pieces like rattan lamps, Mooser baskets, table runners, necklaces and bracelets.
