Green Imperative Fund
Established in all Banyan Tree properties, the Fund aims to widen the reach and effectiveness of the company’s efforts to provide critical financial support to worthy environmental action and community based projects where Banyan Tree Holdings has a presence. Every guest is invited to be a “partner” through a small contribution of US$2.00 per room night, under an “opt-out” arrangement. Banyan Tree matches their contributions, dollar for dollar, to develop the Green Imperative Fund.
Seedlings
Banyan Tree’s tri-phase community program aims to offer opportunity and support to children considered at risk of societal exclusion. This group-wide initiative is broken into three stages of mentorship, scholarship, and internship to provide children with the motivation and means to complete their education and successfully enter the labour force as adults.
