Reflecting the cultural and historical legacy of past Vietnamese dynastic periods, the main buildings and villas are built with integrated clay tiled pitched roofs, open courtyards and wood rafter ceilings in the style of the traditional houses of Hue. The cultural and historical theme resounds throughout the resort, with the use of interior decorations of such as Champa sandstone sculptures, Dong Son bronze drums, Vietnamese calligraphy, Dong Ho woodblock prints, water puppets, silk embroideries, ceramics and royal purple fabrics.

In line with the company’s focus on sustainable design and operations, Banyan Tree Lang Co is pleased to have built in facilities such as energy efficient villa design and hardware, bicycle friendly amenities to support pedal power, and integration of carpooling and mass transportation considerations including favouring low emitting, fuel efficient vehicles.
