Xiang Gu Qing
Vast hills dotted with orchids, medicinal herbs, and Indian azaleas fill Weixi; the only Lisu autonomous county in China and a land known as the green gem of the Henduan Mountain Range for its abundant natural resources.
Located where the Mekong, Yangtze and Salween rivers meet, Weixi is an important part of Zhongdian, a land better known as Shangrila.
Arrive at Xiang Gu Qing in Weixi and visit a Lisu village for an intriguing cultural tour of the indigenous tribe’s way of life. Then, venture into the natural reserves Weixi is famous for and discover exotic plant life and rare state-protected wildlife including the Yunnan Snub-Nosed Monkey*, Red Panda, Clouded Leopard, and more.
*Sighting of the snub-nosed monkey is not guaranteed.
