Mangrove Boat Tour
Guests can embark on our electric-powered lancha (covered boat), while guided by our nature specialist during the tour of the surrounding environment. This interactive two-hour session brings guests on a bird-watching and animal-spotting adventure, sharing intimate knowledge of the friendly creatures including tortoises, iguanas and even a crocodile or two living freely in their natural environment. Highlights
Tricolored Heron
It is characterised by very colourful plumage: its belly and chest are white, its neck brown while the rest of its body is bluish gray.
Turnstone
When feeding, it turns rocks, weeds and small plants upside down with its beak to catch food - hence its name.
Little Blue Heron
Its body and wings are bluish gray. The females lay 2 to 4 light green blue eggs.
Common Moorhen
Notable for its striking red and yellow tip beak. The nest is similar to a basket with a roof. It generally lays 4 to 8 eggs at a time that are incubated by both parents.
