Banyan Tree wins Singapore Tatler Award for Leadership in Environment

Singapore– Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts is the proud winner of the 2010 Singapore Tatler Leadership Award for the Environment.
This Award, introduced last year, is presented to a person, organisation or company that has shown leadership in environmental preservation and protection. Singapore Tatler’s editors and Management, with this Award, recognise Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts’ contribution and efforts to protect the environment whilst operating its hotels and resorts around the world.
The Award, amongst several others, was presented to Banyan Tree by Mr Gilbert Cheah, Managing Director, Singapore Tatler, and receiving were Mr Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman and Ms Claire Chiang, Senior Vice President, Banyan Tree Holdings. This took place at the recent 2010 Tatler Ball, held on 4 Nov at the St Regis Singapore amongst society and business leaders in Singapore, to celebrate Singapore Tatler’s 28th anniversary.
On receiving the Award, both Mr Ho and Ms Chiang paid tribute to and shared the Award with all of Banyan Tree's 15,000 associates around the world, praising them for working passionately in all the resorts and proudly upholding the Banyan Tree spirit of embracing the environment, empowering people.
This latest award joins the growing list of some 631 awards conferred onto Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and its Spas.
