The Caves Tourism Zone
The Caves Tourism Zone has historically served as a screen to the southern part of Sanya. It lies along Nanshan Buddhist Cultural Park at the foothill of Mount Nanshan, adorned by lush vegetation and elegant landscape. The zone was first urbanised as a holiday retreat during the Song Dynasty, approximately 800 years ago.

It is currently the most visited hotspot of Hainan for its special sea view, spectacular mountain landscape as well as the beautiful array of rocks.
