We are extremely excited to welcome you in our revitalized Sanctuary for the Senses.

As of November 1st, 2015, the resort opened a new era with some new layout following a 6 months extensive upgrade. Our legendary Banyan Tree Phuket now turned into an all-pool villa resort with the addition of large pools into our Banyan Pool Villas. 

Water Court All-Day dining has been brought to the ground floor with the addition of a seafood section and private salas within the garden and facing the lagoon.
A perfect al fresco experience with the ‘latino touch’ brought by Alfonso De La Dehesa, new Executive Chef.

The Saffron Thai restaurant, crown jewel and signature restaurant of the brand has now been relocated with the addition of a new and indoor area. Chef Renu has developed some new local specialties which you can taste while enjoying the Phuket nights.

Alternative dining options are still available at Tamarind Japanese restaurant, Tré French-Vietnamese restaurant and Banyan Café by the golf.

Biografía

Sr. Sriram Kailasam es Vicepresidente Auxiliar Senior y Director General de Banyan Tree Phuket, el buque insignia del grupo Banyan Tree.

Asumió este importante cargo en marzo de 2012, tras siete años en Bangkok, donde ocupó el puesto de Director General de Banyan Tree Bangkok y donde, anteriormente, desempeñó el rol corporativo de Vicepresidente Auxiliar de Alimentación y Bebidas, a cargo de todas las operaciones de este ámbito en todo el grupo. Se incorporó al Grupo en 2003 como chef en Banyan Tree Phuket.

Sr. Kailasam tiene un diploma de posgrado de Oberoi School of Management en la India. Es aquí también donde empezó su trayectoria profesional y, antes de incorporarse a Banyan Tree, trabajó para varios grupos internacionales, como Starwood Group, Stamford Hotels Sydney y Hotel Le Royal (de Raffles Hotel Group) en Camboya.

Experto hotelero con una trayectoria de más de 20 años en la hostelería de lujo, el Sr. Kailasam es un profesional completo y también cuenta con amplia experiencia en preaperturas y proyectos que abarcan operaciones en Sudamérica, el Norte de África, Oriente Medio, China y el Sudeste asiático.
