Biografía

Mario Piazza is a seasoned hotelier with over 25 years of hospitality industry experience starting from Sydney Australia, throughout Asia, spending the last fourteen years employed by five-star hotels and resorts. Having a rich multi-cultural career background, his assignments included Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and many more countries. He adapts well to new cultures and provides the best-of-class hospitality services to thousands of prestigious and global guests that demand first-class experiences. 

Mario offers the right support to each of the projects his always assigned too and also plays a major role on the recreational side of things, being the companies consultant and taking on senior management roles in both corporate and leisure hotels for Banyan Tree, including pre-opening roles since joining the group in 2005. He has been a main focal point in today’s Resort operations. He also believes that operation management within the workplace and staff motivation is the most important aspects in making resort move forward in achieving there goals, creating the right work culture within his teams and being the mentor ambassador of our brand.   

Now, he undertakes the role as Hotel Manager in Banyan Tree Ringha Tibet, and carries out the execution of business strategy, in order to ensure the Business Excellence framework, in order to achieve property goals set by our Strategic Business Units. Also, he assists to conduct frequent and thorough inspections of the hotel operations to ensure service excellence is consistently maintained, delivering the right guest excellence to all his guest.
