We are extremely excited to welcome you in our revitalized Sanctuary for the Senses.

As of November 1st, 2015, the resort opened a new era with some new layout following a 6 months extensive upgrade. Our legendary Banyan Tree Phuket now turned into an all-pool villa resort with the addition of large pools into our Banyan Pool Villas. 

Water Court All-Day dining has been brought to the ground floor with the addition of a seafood section and private salas within the garden and facing the lagoon.
A perfect al fresco experience with the ‘latino touch’ brought by Alfonso De La Dehesa, new Executive Chef.

The Saffron Thai restaurant, crown jewel and signature restaurant of the brand has now been relocated with the addition of a new and indoor area. Chef Renu has developed some new local specialties which you can taste while enjoying the Phuket nights.

Alternative dining options are still available at Tamarind Japanese restaurant, Tré French-Vietnamese restaurant and Banyan Café by the golf.

Biographie

M. Sriram Kailasam est vice-président adjoint et directeur général du Banyan Tree Phuket, l'établissement phare du groupe Banyan Tree, depuis mars 2012.

Auparavant, il a passé 7 ans à Bangkok tout d'abord en tant que vice-président adjoint du département Nourriture et boissons en charge de toutes les opérations du groupe, puis comme directeur général du Banyan Tree Bangkok. Il a rejoint le groupe en 2003 en tant que chef au Banyan Tree Phuket.

M. Sriram Kailasam est diplômé de l'Oberoi School of Management en en Inde. C'est également là que sa carrière a commencé car, avant de rejoindre Banyan Tree, il a travaillé pour plusieurs groupes internationaux comme le groupe Starwood, ainsi que les hôtels Stamford à Sydney et l'hôtel Le Royal (du groupe hôtelier Raffles) au Cambodge.

A seasoned hotelier with over 20 year of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Mr. Kailasam is an all-round professional with also an extensive experience in pre-openings, and projects encompassing operations in in South America, North Africa, Middle East, China and South East Asia.
