The Black Dragon Pool, popularly known as the Jade Spring Pool, lies at the foot of the Elephant Mountain which is located to the north of Lijiang. Rest your mountain bikes in the nature park situated on the outer fringes of the pool. The crystal clear waters of this magnificent reserve glisten like the emerald green of jade, making for a wonderful mid-morning respite. Pause for a spot of photo taking by the waterfall, which cascades down a stream beneath the Suocui bridge.
