BANYAN TREE SEYCHELLES ANNOUNCES 2013 SOFT REFURBISHMENT PLANS
February 2013 - Banyan Tree Seychelles will soon be unveiling a new sophisticated appearance, improving guests’ overall resort experience and enhancing the setting with a stylish upgrade. The internal soft refurbishments, which started in January 2013, will not disrupt the resort and will be complete by summer 2013.
The plans include an upgrade to all of the 60 villas at the resort including a fresh re-design for the dining outlets and public areas. The Hillside Pool Villas will be re-painted with new furnishings such as cushion covers, colourful rugs, bed runners and fresh local artwork with further work to polish the internal marble floors and increase storage facilities in the bathrooms. The Beachfront Spa Pool Villas will undergo a similar refresh with a cosy external gazebo and new wooden day beds along with new lighting and vanity mirrors in the bathrooms. A decor revamp will give Saffron Restaurant a revitalised new look, whilst the Au Jardins d’Epices will feature contemporary new furniture to give a light and airy feel. Both the Le Varangue Bar and Reception will also be revived with new furniture.
Tucked amongst the palm trees of Intendance Bay in the majestic Indian Ocean, Banyan Tree Seychelles is a soulful and stylish resort reminiscent of the colonial island charm from a bygone era. A welcoming plantation-style estate greets guests replete with white clapperboard style architecture and a magnificent Banyan Tree that sits at the entrance, its feathery branches adding to the mystical charm of the property. With 60 sophisticated villas, each equipped with private swimming pools, sheltered pavilions, elegant furniture, local artwork and polished marble floors, guests are able to relax and unwind in the natural opulence of quintessentially Seychellois surroundings.
