Easing Guest’s Pain


Late last year, Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside had a guest who experienced unbearable stomach pain. The guest refused to see a doctor, insisting for rest in the hotel. A staff member who was taking care of this guest could not let the matter rest as she was determined to help alleviate the guest’s pain. She went on to prepare ginger tea with brown sugar, got room service staff to deliver the drink without disturbing the guest. The front desk team also delayed this guest’s check-out in view of the situation. When the guest checked out, she expressed her sincere gratitude for the care she received and was looking forward to returning to Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside in the future.
