Q. Does the full Gift Certificate package have to be redeemed all at once?
A. Yes, Gift Certificates are for full redemption only. Any unredeemed nights cannot be exchanged for cash or credits, accumulated, or kept for future trips.
Q. Can I redeem at a different property for the Gift Certificate(s) I purchased?
A. No, the Gift Certificate is only to be redeemed at the respective property it was purchased for. It cannot be redeemed at a different property. This applies too for properties under the same brand.
Q. How can I check the status of my Gift Certificate(s)?

Q. What should I do if I am unable to locate my Gift Certificate email?

Q. I am not able to redeem my Gift Certificate(s) before the expiration date. Can I pass it to my friends or family to redeem on my behalf?
A. Yes, the Gift Certificate(s) are transferable to your friends or family for their usage. There is no restriction to who redeems the gift certificate so it is important to keep it safe. Kindly note that Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts will not be responsible for any lost or stolen Gift Certificate(s). Please bring along and present a copy of the Gift Certificate(s) to our Front desk team upon check-in.
Q. How do I make a booking reservation with the Gift Certificate(s)?
A. To use the Gift Certificate(s), you may simply click on “Book Now” in the Gift Certificate email confirmation and it will direct you to a booking link where you may input your Gift Certificate code into the Special Requests field.
Q. What is the booking lead-time?
A. No booking lead-time, subject to availability.
Q. Are there blackout dates for the Gift Certificate(s)?
A. Yes, there are some blackout dates during high seasons. The blackout dates will be shown in the real-time booking calendar as you select the dates. If you feel strongly about reserving a particular stay period, you can change your travel date, or check back frequently to see if availability has changed for your respective property.
Q. If I have purchased two certificates or more, can I use them for consecutive stays?
A. Yes, you may use all of your purchased Gift Certificates for a longer stay. Please be informed that each Gift Certificate is for 3 Days and 2 Nights only, and you will be required to make separate bookings for each Gift Certificate.
Q. Can I extend my stay after I have made a booking reservation with my Gift Certificate(s)?
A. Yes, you can extend your stay with additional nightly charges with the provision that the property has the rooms available.
Q. Can I pay more to upgrade my room?
A. Yes, there is a possibility of a room upgrade with an additional upgrade supplement, with the provision that the property has the availability of the requested rooms.
Q. With the Gift Certificate(s), can I book a room if I have extra accompanying guests?
A. Yes. Kindly be informed that each Gift Certificate is for 2 persons and additional guests may have to pay additional charges, with the provision that they can be accommodated within the maximum room occupancy.
Q. If I purchased both a Gift Certificate and Habitat Pass, can I use both of them on a single trip?
A. Yes, you may use your Gift Certificate and Habitat Pass on a single trip, but you are required to make separate bookings for each Gift Certificate and each Habitat Pass.
Q. Is the Gift Certificate required upon check-in?
A. Guests have to produce their Gift Certificate(s) upon check-in. We recommend you print or save a copy of your Gift Certificate on your mobile device once you have made your booking.

Cancellations and Booking Amendments
Q. Am I allowed to modify or cancel my booking reservation?
A. Yes, we allow modifications or cancellations from 3 to 7 days prior to arrival. Please check with your respective property for the cancellation policy.
Q. Will I earn rewards points if I book with my Ultimate Getaways Gift Certificate(s)?
A. No, reservations made through Ultimate Getaways package are not eligible to earn Accor rewards points or Airline Miles. The Sanctuary Club benefits do not apply with this promotion.
Q. What is the validity of the Gift Certificate(s) purchased?
A. All Ultimate Getaways Gift Certificates are valid until 31st October 2022.
Q. Can I extend the validity of the Gift Certificates I have purchased?
A. There is a strict no-extension policy. Guests are advised to redeem their Gift Certificate(s) before the expiration date.
Q. Will I get a refund if the Gift Certificate(s) expire before I am able to redeem them?
A. No, there will be strictly no refunds for expired Gift Certificate(s).
Q. When do I need to inform you if I decide to get a refund for my Ultimate Getaways Gift Certificates?
A. You may share with us the gift certificate numbers that you would like to cancel by 31st October 2022 via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q. Will it be a full refund for my purchase of the Gift Certificate(s)?
A. Yes, it will be a full monetary refund made to the original credit card that was used to make the purchase, so as to ensure authenticity and to minimize any potential fraud. The refund cannot be credited back in other forms such as cash or credits. The refund may take more than 30 business days depending on the issuing bank, and an admin fee may be charged by the issuing bank.
