Star Sky Soaking Pool
The entire soaking pool space draws inspiration from the cave firing craftsmanship of the intangible cultural heritage "Imperial Kiln Golden Bricks" in Xiangcheng, Suzhou. Its rammed-earth textured walls built by hand reproduce the cave texture of ancient Jiangnan kilns. The rough brick patterns combined with the soft curved dome not only pay homage to local intangible cultural heritage, but also create a serene enveloping sense like natural karst caves, shutting out external noises and forming a secluded and private atmosphere. The oval starry ceiling on the top serves as the visual core of the space, simulating the romantic scene of pouring galaxy, echoing the design concept of harmonious coexistence between human and nature. The warm starlight interweaves with the cool pool water, connecting the indoor soaking space with the artistic conception of starry sky and nature, extending the soaking experience from physical relaxation to spiritual healing.
