The village is rich in forestry resources and is renowned for producing abundant Lingnan fruits and vegetables. With seasonal produce available year-round, families can enjoy the delights of rural life by picking fresh strawberries and cherry tomatoes.

Additionally, the village features scenic highlights and photo-worthy spots such as picturesque rice fields, the "Happiness" café housed in a train-themed square, shared farms, the lakeside greenway, and sites dedicated to red education. Jingxia Village

Liantang Village boasts a history of over 700 years and has been honored as a Historical and Cultural Village of Guangdong Province (2012) and a Traditional Chinese Village (2013). Following the traditional Lingnan layout of "mountain–village–water–farmland," the village is nestled against the Xuanwu Mountain and faces the Lotus Pond. Five crescent-shaped ponds encircle the village like lotus roots, lending poetic inspiration to its name.

The village preserves a wealth of ancient architecture, with rows of blue-brick houses featuring distinctive "wok-ear" gables. Among them, the well-preserved Shisi Chen Ancestral Hall, built during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, stands as a prime example. Its majestic "wok-ear" gables, exquisite gray-molded ridges, and brilliantly preserved beam paintings vividly showcase the artistry of Lingnan ancestral hall architecture. Deep, tranquil lanes and waterside dwellings together weave the unique rustic charm of Liantang, forming a serene and picturesque tableau.
