This is an authentic Tibetan home where villagers have lived in the past with their families and livestock. This Shangri-La lodge was transported from its original location room by room and refurbished to the highest standards. Inspired by traditional Tibetan homes, the Shangri-La lodge accomodation combines heritage craftsmanship with modern comfort.

The villa has a traditional courtyard, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large Tibetan living area, quiet study area, and a handmade wooden bathtub. Hand-carved wooden details, rich textiles, and locally influenced décor create a warm atmosphere that reflects the culture of Shangri-La. The ground floor features an intimate social lounge centred around a traditional wood-burning fireplace, while the upper level hosts a lavish master bedroom. Step onto your private balcony to watch the morning mist roll over the Shuhong River, or stay indoor and enjoy alone time in complete quietude. However you choose to unwind, this room has room for relaxation after visiting nearby monasteries, valleys, and surrounding Tibetan villages throughout the region.
