Agarwood, a treasure with a long history, has been a prized tribute to the imperial court since the Tang Dynasty, cherished for its unique fragrance and intricate crafting techniques. Participating in an agarwood-making course, I delved into its historical background and crafting methods, learning the steps from blending the incense powder, shaping, mold making, to the drying process. Throughout the course, I gained a deep appreciation for the laborious journey of agarwood formation and experienced the immersive moments of incense making. +
