Vijit Chao Phraya 2026 brings light and art to Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River from 13 November to 13 December 2026. Mark the season with a Bangkok dinner cruise aboard Saffron Cruise or Apsara Cruise by Banyan Tree Bangkok, where Thai cooking and the river’s changing scenery invite you to share the evening.

Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Vijit Chao Phraya celebrates the river through illumination, projection mapping and performances at selected riverside locations. Between the city’s lights and the movement of the water, take time to look closer at Bangkok and the people sharing the moment with you.

Saffron Cruise and contemporary Thai dining

Begin on the open-air Moon Deck before settling into the indoor saloon for a four-course Thai dining journey. Saffron Cruise brings Thai flavours to the river in a contemporary setting, with hand-painted Siamese fighting fish on its exterior. Share a meal, follow the passing river views and enjoy time together during the festival season.
