Thai Fest
Saturday, May 2 – 6:00 pm
From Southeast Asia to the Mayan jungle, Thai and Mexican cultures share deep, fascinating bonds: a rich cultural and natural legacy, millenary spiritual traditions, and an absolute love for community.
We are honored to celebrate the eighth edition of our traditional Thai Fest on June 13, 2026. Inspired by the number eight, a symbol of prosperity, infinity, and continuity, we are thrilled to design an immersive experience showcasing gastronomy, art, wellness, and connection.
Deeply rooted in tradition and community, Thai and Mexican cultures are best expressed around the table, where friends and families gather to share moments big and small, turning the ordinary into treasured memories to last a lifetime.
Every year, Thai Fest is our opportunity to welcome our guests and local friends*, as we showcase Thai culture at its most extraordinary during an evening created to delight the senses.

Imagined as a doorway to the mysticism of the Mexican Caribbean’s jungle and mangroves, the entrance to Banyan Tree Mayakoba is an invitation to pause and connect with our surroundings. Our Lily Pond, a symbol of natural serenity, will host the eighth edition of Thai Fest, gathering our guests in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.
From peninsula to peninsula, the eighth edition of Thai Fest will bring the spirit of Thai culture to Banyan Tree’s five Mexico properties, celebrating five destinations and the five essential forces that bring them to life: ocean, land, fire, jungle, and spirit.
Every year, our network of allies and partners makes the Thai Fest dream a reality. We are deeply grateful to everyone who believes in this project and brings it to life through their generosity. We are honored to walk alongside those who share our vision: to create common spaces, to strengthen bonds, and to remember that, regardless of apparent distances and differences, we are all more alike than we may think.
